Reference rate for Revain (rev) differs from major markets

Resolved

After evaluating the quality of our reference rate for Revain for several weeks, we have not detected any additional differences between our rate and other major markets we monitor.

The original issue occurred due to a divergence in prices from Revain’s USDT-quoted markets and BTC-quoted markets. Our reference rates methodology only considers markets quoted in U.S. dollars, Bitcoin, and Ethereum as eligible constituent markets. This divergence has not repeated itself over the past several weeks.

Investigating

Our reference rate for Revain differs from major markets because our constituent markets consist of markets quoted only in BTC. We are investigating the issue and will provide updates in this issue.
